Lacey’s career in healthcare began more than 18 years ago after earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Michigan University. From the start, she was drawn to fields where clinical precision, patient trust, and meaningful outcomes intersect—leading her to build a career in plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine. Over the years, Lacey has continually pursued professional growth, expanding her knowledge in both clinical practice and leadership. Leadership in Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Care

Before joining Criswell & Criswell Plastic Surgery, Lacey spent 14 years as Surgical Director at a respected plastic surgery center in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In that role, she oversaw surgical operations, guided patient care protocols, and helped support both the clinical and administrative aspects of a busy surgical practice. More recently, she served as the Clinical Lead RN at Greater Charlotte Oral and Facial Surgery, further strengthening her experience in surgical coordination, patient education, and team leadership.

These roles have given her a comprehensive understanding of the patient journey—from consultation through recovery and long-term care. Her leadership and clinical experience ultimately led to her appointment as Clinical Director at Criswell & Criswell Plastic Surgery, where she helps ensure patients receive attentive, thoughtful care at every step.

In addition to her leadership role, Lacey is a skilled aesthetic injector who specializes in treatments designed to enhance natural beauty while preserving facial harmony and balance. Her background in surgical nursing informs a careful, medically grounded approach to aesthetic treatments.

Outside the Clinic

Lacey and her family recently relocated from Michigan and are now proud members of the Waxhaw, North Carolina, community. She and her husband, Ben, are the parents of three children—Ella, Bennett, and Celia—and share their home with a beloved goldendoodle named Odin.

Outside of the clinic, Lacey enjoys staying active and spending time with her family. She can often be found cheering on her children at sporting events, practicing yoga, hiking local trails, traveling, reading, and hosting gatherings that bring friends and family together.
