A Passion for Patient Care and Aesthetic Medicine

Jessica joined Criswell & Criswell Plastic Surgery in 2019 and has developed her expertise through direct mentorship with Drs. Bryan and Kara Criswell. Training alongside two board-certified plastic surgeons has provided her with a strong clinical foundation in both surgical and non-surgical aesthetic care. Her experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery has shaped a careful, medically grounded approach to aesthetic treatments. Jessica focuses on helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident throughout every stage of their care.

Education and Early Career

Jessica earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, North Carolina. During her time at the university, she competed as a four-year collegiate athlete on the women’s soccer team, an experience that strengthened her discipline, teamwork, and commitment to excellence.

After completing her nursing degree in 2017, Jessica began her career in medical-surgical nursing before expanding into specialized surgical care. These early roles provided a strong foundation in patient safety, clinical decision-making, and compassionate care.

Experience Across Surgical and Clinical Settings

Jessica’s professional background spans several areas of healthcare, including orthopedic surgery, plastic surgery, and operating room nursing. Her experience in both inpatient and outpatient surgical environments has given her a comprehensive understanding of patient care throughout the surgical journey.

Her clinical experience includes roles at Carolinas HealthCare System–Pineville, Novant Health Charlotte Orthopedic Hospital, Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center, and Atrium Health, where she worked in surgical coordination and operating room settings focused on plastic, reconstructive, and ENT procedures.

Jessica also served as a travel nurse in the operating room at the Medical University of South Carolina, further expanding her surgical knowledge and experience.

Advanced Training in Aesthetic Injectables

Jessica has pursued extensive continuing education to refine her aesthetic skills and remain current with evolving techniques in the field. She has completed numerous advanced injectable trainings with nationally recognized educators from leading aesthetic companies.
Her training includes advanced techniques in:

Facial assessment and treatment planning
Neurotoxins
Dermal fillers
Product placement for natural facial balance

Jessica has also attended the American Society of Plastic Surgeons Symposium, reflecting her commitment to ongoing education and evidence-based aesthetic care.

As MedSpa Director, Jessica helps oversee the aesthetic services offered within the Be Well MedSpa at Criswell & Criswell Plastic Surgery. She works closely with the physicians and clinical team to ensure that patients receive coordinated, thoughtful care designed to maintain and enhance their results over time. Her role reflects the practice’s belief that aesthetic care should be both medically guided and deeply personal.

Outside the Clinic

Jessica was raised in South Carolina and continues to bring the same energy and dedication she demonstrated as a collegiate athlete into her professional life today. Outside the clinic, she enjoys staying active and spending time with family and friends.

Her passion for helping people feel confident in their appearance continues to drive her work in aesthetic medicine.
