Carol Tyner, rn, bsn, cpsn
Practice Director, Quality Assurance Officer
Originally from the mountains of North Carolina, Carol graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Finding that she loved caring for patients who were going through positive, life changing experiences, Carol quickly found a home in plastic surgery. After several years of working directly with patients in the clinical setting, Carol transitioned from direct patient care to overseeing all details of the company and now serves as the Practice Director, ensuring each patient’s experience is exceptional. Carol’s true passion is Criswell & Criswell’s dedication to each patient’s safety, quality of care and exceptional results. Because of Carol’s incredible attention to detail, she is well suited as our surgery center’s Quality Control Officer, making sure our facility maintains the highest standards.

Patient Care Coordinator
Darla is our fabulous Patient Care Coordinator and helps guide our patients through their entire experience with us. A native Carolinian, Darla has been in the aesthetic field for more than 15 years. Her warmth and friendliness are immediately apparent the first time you talk to her. “I want our patients to feel at ease from our first conversation and know that I am here for them, for any of their questions or concerns.” Her passion is helping patients throughout the entire surgical experience. “It is so rewarding to see a patient after surgery regain their confidence, and in seeing the excitement in their eyes as they get that ‘spark’ back…it’s an amazing feeling!” Whether it’s for a spa treatment, an injectable appointment, or the surgery you’ve always wanted, Darla will be your advocate, helping you achieve your aesthetic goals.
Patient Care Coordinator
Patty helps coordinate the surgical experience for many of our cosmetic patients. “I love working with patients and helping them feel comfortable, from the beginning of the process through their recovery.” Patients immediately feel at ease with her because she is attentive, caring and thorough. Understanding that each patient is unique, Patty is dedicated to providing them a special, personalized experience. Patty possesses a genuine understanding of art and beauty, and this combined with her background in client relations has prepared her well for providing the concierge-level care she provide our patients.
Lauren Marshall, bsn, rn
Originally from New York, Lauren graduated from East Carolina University, obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Knowing that she wanted to become a nurse at a young age , Lauren quickly found her place in surgical nursing. She enjoys being by the patient’s side from the beginning until the end of surgery. Her true passion is caring for patients after surgery. You will often find her in our surgery center and recovery suite.
Catherine Pryor, BSN, RN
Originally from Greenville, SC, Catherine graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Catherine has worked extensively caring for patients in both adult and pediatric intensive care units, as well as the emergency department in locations along the east coast. She feels very fortunate to have found plastic surgery; a place where she can help patients become the version of themselves that they so desire. Her commitment, patience, kindness, and professionalism shines through in the care she provides.
Michelle Caamano, BSN, RN
Michelle has been in Plastics for over 20 years. Graduated top of her class from nursing school at University of Texas, she also worked in Neuro ICU and ER level one Trauma center. Her hobbies include hiking, going out on her boat, traveling and visiting museums. She’s married 22 years strong and adores her 2-year-old fur baby. Nursing is her passion and she loves to learn more about this ever-evolving field.
Joye Robinson, RN
Originally from Texas, Joye received her nursing degree in Charlotte. While she has worked in several areas of nursing, she has found that surgical nursing is her true passion. Joye loves caring for patients from the start of their journey to the very end. Her joyful yet calm spirit makes patients feel at ease whether it's in the office or recovery suite.
Jennifer Cox, cst
Certified Surgical Technologist, Infection Control Officer
Jennifer grew up Indian Land, SC, and received her Surgical Technology Certification after working in the operating room at Novant Presbyterian facilities. She has been our surgery technologist since we opened, and also serves as our Infection Control Officer. Just as comfortable in the OR as out, Jennifer will often be there to help our patients with routine visits, office procedures, and postoperative appointments. Her genuineness and professionalism are two of many reasons our patients, staff and surgeons love Jen.
Ashley Smith, cma
A true Charlottean, Ashley was born and raised in Charlotte. With multiple years of experience in the medical field as a CMA, Ashley always makes patients feel at home in our office with her outgoing personality and warm smile.
Stefanie became a Medical Esthetician in 2004. She has worked along side Plastic Surgeons and Dermatologists in New York. She came to Charlotte in 2015 with her husband and twin daughters in 2015. She lives in Mooresville and is leader of her daughters’ Girl Scout troop. Stefanie gave her first facial to her babysitter when she was just four years old and has loved skincare ever since. Her favorite treatments include derma-planning and Photo-rejuvenation.
As I entered my teens and 20's I started to struggle with my personal skin problems. This included acne and scars from acneic breakouts. This is when I developed my high interest in skin care. My name is Marjorie Murray I am a licensed para-medical aesthetician and a North Carolina native. I would like the opportunity to help you achieve your personal skin care goals. This can include maintaining, preserving, and repairing your current skin conditions. I have extensive knowledge in medical aesthetics including laser technology, chemical peels, dermaplaning, and gentle exfoliation treatments. I look forward to helping you!
Patient Concierge, Event Coordinator
As a communications graduate from Appalachian State University, Meg has a wonderful way of making patients feel comfortable as soon as they step through our doors. She also brings extensive knowledge from her background in marketing and advertising. Not only will she be assisting patients from start to finish, but also helping coordinate all future Criswell & Criswell events. Her love for helping others and dedication to her work make her a great fit for our practice.
Born and raised in Charleston, SC, Caroline found her home at Criswell & Criswell shortly after her move to Charlotte. She quickly fell in love with the company’s dedication and commitment to go above and beyond for their patients. With nearly a decade of customer service experience, Caroline possesses strong communication skills and loves to help others. Because of this, she is skilled in building relationships with patients and ensuring they are receiving the highest level of service and care at Criswell & Criswell.
A native of North Carolina, Tifaine has always had a heart and a passion to help and serve others at multiple capacities. After joining the Criswell and Criswell team Tifaine quickly felt right at home. Working within our Insurance, Referrals and Surgery Scheduling department she is dedicated to making sure each and every patient is taken care of each and every day.
