Administrative Staff

Brent

Practice Director

Brent's healthcare career began after receiving his Master's of Science in Health Administration degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He has over 20 years of leadership experience working in hospitals, medical practices, and non-profit organizations. Brent has served in various senior executive roles in addition to physician practice administration. Brent's engrained caring nature and desire to serve others instilled his passion to work in the healthcare field. Beyond Brent's professional life, he is husband to his wife, Julie, and currently resides in Matthews, NC. They have a blended family of six children and two grandchildren. Brent enjoys playing pickleball, tennis, and golf. He is also an avid sports fan of his alma mater, the University of Alabama.

Patty

Patient Care Coordinator

Patty helps coordinate the surgical experience for many of our cosmetic patients. “I love working with patients and helping them feel comfortable, from the beginning of the process through their recovery.” Patients immediately feel at ease with her because she is attentive, caring and thorough. Understanding that each patient is unique, Patty is dedicated to providing them a special, personalized experience. Patty possesses a genuine understanding of art and beauty, and this combined with her background in client relations has prepared her well for providing the concierge-level care she provides our patients.

McKenzie

Assistant Patient Care Coordinator

Born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, McKenzie brings with her a background in fashion and marketing working with both national and international brands. She leverages her creativity and communication skills to enhance the patient experience with personalized, detail-oriented care for each patient that walks through our doors.

Jennifer, CST

Certified Surgical Technologist, Infection Control Officer

Jennifer grew up in Indian Land, SC, and received her Surgical Technology Certification after working in the operating room at Novant Presbyterian facilities. She has been our surgery technologist since we opened, and also serves as our Infection Control Officer. Just as comfortable in the OR as out, Jennifer will often be there to help our patients with routine visits, office procedures, and postoperative appointments. Her genuineness and professionalism are two of many reasons our patients, staff, and surgeons love Jen.

Clinical Staff

Jessica, RN, BSN

Clinic Director, Nurse Injector

Raised in South Carolina, Jessica graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Lenoir-Rhyne University while playing collegiate soccer. She lives in Uptown Charlotte and enjoys staying active with pilates and exploring local coffee shops and restaurants in the city. Jessica has been a clinical nurse and nurse injector with our practice since 2019. As the Med Spa Coordinator, she combines her clinical expertise with a personalized approach. She combines her love of patient care with a creative flare, ensuring each patient feels supported, educated, and confident throughout their treatment journey. With a strong foundation in operative room nursing, she has worked extensively in trauma, head and neck surgery, and plastic surgery — experience that gives her a deep understanding of anatomy, patient safety, and aesthetic outcomes.

Stefanie, LE

Licensed Esthetician, Master Esthetician, Regenerative Aesthetic Specialist

Stefanie became a Medical Esthetician in 2004. She has worked alongside Plastic Surgeons and Dermatologists in New York. She came to Charlotte in 2015 with her husband and twin daughters, and have been working at Criswell & Criswell since November of 2017. Stefanie gave her first facial to her babysitter when she was just four years old and has loved skincare ever since. Her favorite treatments include dermaplaning and Photo-rejuvenation.

Kara, RN, BSN

Registered Nurse

Raised in Charlotte, NC, Kara earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. After discovering her passion for nursing, she pursued and obtained an associate’s degree in nursing from SPCC. Kara began her nursing career in labor and delivery, where she developed a deep love for supporting patients through life-changing transitions. This experience seamlessly translated into her work in plastic surgery, where she remains dedicated to ensuring that patients feel informed, involved, and supported throughout every step of their care. Committed to helping patients look and feel their best, Kara provides consistent encouragement and personalized support. Whether in the operating room, pre-op/PACU area, or consulting with pre- and post-operative patients in the office, Kara is always focused on delivering exceptional care.
