Carolina Breast Friends Pink Boots Ball

Our very own Dr. Kara Criswell was the keynote speaker for the 7th Annual Pink Boots Ball, in Charlotte, which featured dinner, auctions, live music, and dancing. The proceeds of this event were to benefit Carolina Breast Friends, a non-profit organization committed to helping women with breast cancer in all stages of survival. This sold-out event showcased an encore dance performance by Clair Campbell and Pasha Antanovich, the 2016 Dancing with the Stars of Charlotte for the Pink House Judge Choice Award Winners.

Komen

In the 1980’s, Susan G. Komen was founded, launching the breast cancer movement, along with the well-known “Race for the Cure” series. This group has the brave goal to reduce the current number of breast cancer death by 60% by 2026. The advances in treatment since Komen was founded have come about through the hard work and dedication of community members, sponsors, corporations, and regular people who have had their lives impacted by breast cancer. We support Komen and invite you to participate!

Ballantyne Rally

Rally is an organization that focuses engaging the community to participate in supporting cancer research. The grassroots movement uses golf, tennis, and a range of social programs to raise $80 million for breast cancer research and local programs, and provides those who want to participate with resources such as fundraising ideas and a “how to” guide to create a local event.
