Carolina Breast Friends Pink Boots Ball

Our very own Dr. Kara Criswell was the keynote speaker for the 7th Annual Pink Boots Ball, in Charlotte, which featured dinner, auctions, live music, and dancing. The proceeds of this event were to benefit Carolina Breast Friends, a non-profit organization committed to helping women with breast cancer in all stages of survival. This sold-out event showcased an encore dance performance by Clair Campbell and Pasha Antanovich, the 2016 Dancing with the Stars of Charlotte for the Pink House Judge Choice Award Winners.

Komen

In the 1980’s, Susan G. Komen was founded, launching the breast cancer movement, along with the well-known “Race for the Cure” series. This group has the brave goal to reduce the current number of breast cancer death by 60% by 2026. The advances in treatment since Komen was founded have come about through the hard work and dedication of community members, sponsors, corporations, and regular people who have had their lives impacted by breast cancer. We support Komen and invite you to participate!

A Night in the Caribbean: Ballantyne Rally for the Cure

As an annual sponsor of this event, Criswell & Criswell commits our attention to supporting Ballantyne Rally for the Cure—one of the largest Komen fundraising rallies in the country. In the past, both surgeons Dr. Bryan Criswell and Dr. Kara Criswell have served as keynote speakers for the main Gala event. This year for the Gala, which kicks off the Rally for the Cure season, The Criswell & Criswell Plastic Surgery team donated silent auction items and swag bags. Guests enjoyed dinner and dancing amidst palm trees and festive Calypso tunes. Visit bccrally.org for more information and to participate in the Pink Bow Campaign to show your support!
